How do You Get a Fresh Start to The Week

I hope your weekend was so productive that you were excited to keep it rolling this Monday.  What’s not to be excited about?  Look at Mondays as a fresh start every week.  Plus, how often do you get to see a Solar Eclipse?

In a previous post I talked about celebrating all your victories.  Make sure you look at this past week and acknowledge everything you accomplished, big and small.  This will be your personal pat on your back.  Working hard takes a lot of dedication and can get a bit lonely.  People around you might not understand what you are trying to accomplish.  Just believe in yourself and you will get through it.

Have your week planned out.  What do you need to accomplish in order to keep you on the right track?  Plan for some interruptions but don’t allow interruptions to take you off course.

I told you this was going to be hard.  If you took my challenge and worked this weekend, you might be feeling a bit tired.  Tired is okay.  Tired is nothing a cup of coffee can’t solve.  Once you get started this morning, you will feel energized again.

Stay focused and enjoy the journey.  The journey is part of the fun.  You will look back on this time and be amazed with what you put yourself through and what you were able to take on.  You are learning a tremendous amount about life and yourself.

If you haven’t taken the first step, today is the day.  If you have already taken action, you are well on your way to success.  Each day is about progress.  Know exactly what you want to get accomplished this Monday so when you lay your head on the pillow tonight, you can be proud of your accomplishments.

Enjoy the Solar Eclipse and all the blessings it will bring to you.

Where Would You Be If Your Path Was Different?

I am captivated by people who love who they are and content with where they are in life. You may hear them state that they wouldn’t change a thing because then they wouldn’t be where they are now. Although I know I wouldn’t be where I am now without the experiences in my life, I often think about where I could be if I could redo many moments throughout my life. Looking back, what if I handled those 6th-grade mean girls in a more confident way, focused more in High School and got better grades, participated more in leadership clubs, actively volunteered, knew in college what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, etc. If I could go back and make these changes, would I be in a different position today? Would I be a better, more stronger person?
