What is Holding you Back from Full Potential?
Do you analyze your life and determine that if you could remove one or more obstacles, you could reach your fullest potential? Is there something or someone holding you back? Last you checked, this is your life. It’s time to take charge. If you are looking to grow as a person or in your professional life, it’s critical you take many deep dives throughout your life. Review and keep reviewing so you can determine what it is that is standing in your way.
It’s not enough to just make the best of your situation. You have one life on this earth so you need to accomplish all you are capable of doing. There are things you want to experience and other things you have to experience in order to prosper. If you accept obstacles in your life, you can easily get distracted or disengaged. Don’t allow these disruptions to impact your life. The goal is stay focused and excited.
I will be the first to admit, this is not always as easy as it sounds. If it was as easy as removing or adding someone or something to your environment, we would all do it, right? How do you remove an over controlling boss? How do you ignore a over bearing family member? You’re not always in control of who you work with and, you’re certainly not in control of, who your family members are. So, now what do you do? Good question! What if you need thousands of dollars to get what you need done? You can’t just snap your fingers and poof…stacks of cash.
Let’s talk about what you can control. Is your your head in the right place? Do you have the strength and stamina to keep pushing towards your goals every single day. Although you can’t control your boss, you can control you. Be ready to handle anything that is thrown your way. Everyday when you wake up, give yourself time for positive thoughts and affirmations. Wake up ready to take on the world.
I enjoy going to the gym as early as 5AM. While at the gym, I spend 30 minutes in the sauna clearing my mind. This alone time in the sauna, gives me the strength to face anything throughout the day. It’s also time I will strategize what I want to accomplish for the day. I have found, when I don’t go to the gym, I am out of sorts. The gym might not be for you but find that time to clear your mind.
You can’t always remove negativity from your day, so it’s important, you look for joy. Surround yourself with good people, find a hobby you love, and do something each day that will get you closer to your goal. I don’t care how small the something is.. just do something. You will feel accomplished and a sense of pride. If you love what you do, it’s easy to make these steps forward no matter how big or small the steps might be. Make sure you are living to your fullest potential!
